Local Moving

A local move is any move within a 100 mile radius from Truckee, while staying in California. In most cases, these moves can be completed within one day. 



Pick & Choose

We can move as few or as many items as you would like. Quite often for local moves and if you have the option to do so, we will be instructed to move just the large items(sofas, dressers, washers/dryers, etc.), which can make your move quite inexpensive and quick. This gives you the freedom to take your time packing all of the small things, incase you're not completely ready to move everything.

Packing & Unpacking

We offer full service moving for local moves and can pack/unpack as little or as much as you would like.

Cost

We keep it simple for local moves and charge a flat based hourly rate(plus material costs --- if we will be supplying the material). Here are a few factors that will affect the cost of a local move: 

• Will we be doing any of the packing or unpacking or will you be doing this?

• Will you be needing packing material? Boxes, tape, packing paper, shrink wrap?

• What size is your home? 

• How many movers and trucks will you need for your move?

• What is the access like for our trucks at both homes you're moving from and to? Is there a steep driveway, lots of stairs, a long carry distance, tight doorways?

These are all questions we can answer by doing a quick and easy in-home estimate.
