Interstate Moving

Interstate moves, refer to any move going across state lines (including Nevada) in the contiguous United States. These moves typically take the most planning and preparation, but again, leave all of the hard work to us!

Packing & Unpacking

We offer full service moving for interstate moves and can pack/unpack as little or as much as you would like.

Cost

Here are some factors that will affect the cost of an interstate move:

  • Will we be doing any of the packing or unpacking? Or will you be doing this?

  • Will you be needing packing material? Boxes, tape, packing paper, shrink wrap, etc.?

  • What size is your home?

  • How many movers and trucks will you need for your move?

  • What is access like for our trucks at both homes you're moving from and to? Is there a steep driveway, stairs, long carry distance, tight doorways?

  • How many miles is it to your new residence?

  • How many state lines will we be crossing?

These are all questions we can answer by doing a quick and easy in-home estimate.

Trip Permits

The state of Nevada requires a temporary registration trip permit for commercial vehicles over 10,000 lbs. All of our moving trucks are over 10,000 lbs, so we are required to purchase a trip permit for each time we enter Nevada. The cost for this permit will be applied to your invoice upon completion of your move. To receive an estimate of cost for a Nevada trip permit, please inquire about this when booking your move if you are moving to or from Nevada, as the price varies depending on the specific location in Nevada.
